Lee moved to Rochester to study physics and mechanical engineering at Roberts Wesleyan University and Rochester Institute of Technology. He also competed as a Redhawk on the Roberts Cross Country and Track teams. Over a fiver-year career under the leadership of Coach Andrew Dorr, Lee dropped his high school PRs in the 5k and mile of 17:29 and 4:46 down to 14:56 and 4:15 respectively. He also ran a 1500m PR of 3:54 and a school record 3km of 8:18. Post collegiately, Lee has gone on to run a 2:40:39 full marathon and a 1:10:39 half-marathon. He is now a Mechanical Engineer at QED Technologies, designing precision optics manufacturing equipment. In his free time, Lee plays in a worship band on Sundays and is a great guitar player! He also just got married to Becky O'Dell on July 19th!
